When rescuers arrived on the scene, their hearts immediately went out to a small, motionless puppy. “It seems the little one can’t feel his back legs,” one of them noted with a heavy heart. “Such a poor dog!” they agreed as they raced to his side.
The rescuers had just learned from the requester’s mother that the puppy had been cruelly abandoned after suffering a blow to the head by his owner. “The neighbor informed us,” one rescuer explained, their voice filled with anger.
