Two puppies found abandoned near a garbage dump in freezing conditions faced an uphill battle for survival. When rescuers arrived, one of the animals was already in dire condition, while the other, named Lily, showed remarkable resilience with the aid of caring veterinarians.
The rescue call had reported their presence in the mountains, where the puppies lay amongst heaps of trash. It was an unbearable sight of neglect. The rescuers found them barely reacting to human presence, clearly suffering from the cold. Quickly, they transported them to the safety of a warm car.

At the veterinary clinic, it became evident the puppies were in critical condition. One exhibited minimal signs of life, and sadly, her health failed completely due to her lungs filling with blood, possibly from prior trauma. The heartbreaking decision was made to end her suffering.
Attention then turned entirely to Lily, who was diagnosed with parvovirus, a serious viral illness that required careful treatment. Initially, Lily showed little interest in eating, necessitating IV fluids to provide essential nutrients.

Remarkably, after a week of intensive care, Lily’s condition improved. She regained her appetite and began showing signs of vitality. Over the following month, Lily underwent an incredible transformation, becoming a vibrant and playful puppy.
As Lily continues on her path to recovery, plans are being made for her vaccination and eventual adoption. The hope is that she will find a loving home that offers the same kindness and care she has received so far, ensuring her future is filled with as much love and compassion as those who saved her.
