Aniston and Jolie last crossed paths at the Critics’ Choice Awards in 2015. Their reported tension dates back to 2005 when Brad Pitt left Aniston to start a relationship with Jolie after filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
After getting married, Pitt and Jolie eventually separated in 2014, while Aniston remarried in a private ceremony with Justin Theroux in 2015.
Although both actresses were expected to walk the red carpet at the Golden Globes, only Jolie appeared, drawing attention to her stunning outfit. Meanwhile, Aniston’s absence puzzled fans, with some asking on social media, “Where is Jennifer Aniston?”
Despite skipping the carpet, Aniston later appeared on stage to present an award alongside Carol Burnett to “The Handmaid’s Tale” star Elizabeth Moss.
