Angelina Jolie was seen in public for the first time in months, and she was spotted shopping with her daughter Vivienne in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 45-year-old actress and her 11-year-old daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, were photographed in the Los Feliz neighborhood.
Given the surge in COVID-19 cases in California, the “Tomb Raider” star and her daughter took safety precautions by wearing face masks and latex gloves as they exited their SUV to run errands.
Jolie wore a simple yet elegant white summer dress and pink flat-soled shoes. Her brunette hair was styled in loose waves, cascading over her shoulders as the pair visited a local pet store. They were accompanied by security during the outing.
Vivienne, dressed casually in jeans and a gray T-shirt, opted for a high ponytail with her blonde hair. She and her mom picked up some essential items while staying close to one another, with Jolie occasionally draping an arm over her daughter’s shoulder.
This marks Jolie’s first public appearance since her interview with HarpersBazaarUK last month, where she discussed life during the pandemic.
She did not, however, address her high-profile split from Brad Pitt, which occurred in 2016 after their marriage in 2014. The couple shares six children: Maddox, 18; Pax, 16; Zahara, 15; Shiloh, 14; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 11.
There have been signs of a possible reconciliation between Jolie and Pitt in recent weeks, as the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor was seen leaving Jolie’s Los Feliz home on his motorcycle last Tuesday.
