Angelina Jolie’s new tattoo is raising eyebrows, hinting at her feelings towards her ex, Brad Pitt, following their recent custody dispute.

The actress revealed a new tattoo on her forearm in New York City last week, displaying a quote from the famous scientist Galileo Galilei. It reads, “Eppur si muove,” which translates from Italian to “And yet it moves.”

This quote is from 1633, referencing Galileo’s defiant stance despite being forced to retract his claim that the Earth orbits the sun, suggesting that truth will eventually prevail.

The tattoo joins other meaningful quotes on Jolie’s body, including a line from Rumi’s poem that reads, “There exists a field beyond all notions of right and wrong.

I will meet you there.” Jolie has a wide array of tattoos, ranging from a Bengal tiger to a Buddhist spell and the coordinates of her children’s birthplaces.

This new ink follows a recent court decision granting joint custody to Brad Pitt after a lengthy and contentious custody battle. The couple shares six children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.

Pitt celebrated the court’s decision, but a source close to Jolie shared that she’s “bitterly disappointed.” The source told Us Weekly, “She will never forgive him.

She maintains it’s far from over and still believes that justice will prevail.” Judge Ouderkirk, who presided over the case, ruled against Pitt’s inappropriate behavior allegations.

The court’s decision was based on extensive testimonies from witnesses, including child services experts and therapists. This ruling marks the end of almost five years of Brad Pitt’s fight for equal custody of his children.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The split followed an incident on a plane where Pitt allegedly clashed with their son, Maddox.

After an investigation, the FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt of any wrongdoing.

However, the animosity between the two stars continues to simmer, with both sides having reportedly spent over $1 million each in their drawn-out legal battle.
