Angelina Jolie has decided to end her marriage to Brad Pitt, citing his use of marijuana, alcohol consumption, and anger issues as reasons for the split.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Jolie had grown increasingly concerned about the impact of Pitt’s behavior on their six children.

Earlier today, The Sun reported that Jolie’s decision to divorce Pitt came after rumors of his alleged infidelity with co-star Marion Cotillard.
However, additional details have emerged, shedding light on Jolie’s broader concerns about Pitt’s lifestyle.

TMZ reported that Jolie was apprehensive about Pitt’s substance use, which she believed created an unsafe environment for their children.
According to a source, Jolie’s entertainment attorney, Robert Offer, explained that her primary motivation for seeking a divorce was “for the health of the family.”
The couple, “Brangelina,” share six children: Maddox, 15; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; Pax, 12; and eight-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. Jolie is seeking physical custody but is open to Pitt having visitation rights.

A source close to Pitt told The Sun that Jolie’s decision was based on deep dissatisfaction with the marriage, citing years of turmoil and disagreements over parenting.
The source also mentioned that Pitt’s past with marijuana was a point of contention. The actor had previously admitted to using the drug heavily during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, leading to depression.
In a previous interview with Hollywood Reporter, Pitt acknowledged his struggle with substance abuse, saying he “got sick of himself” during the late 1990s due to excessive marijuana use.

However, he claimed to have given it up when he became a father, stating that he wanted to be more present for his children.
While the details of the divorce proceedings continue to unfold, Jolie focuses on protecting her children from a potentially harmful environment.
