Recently, Pax Thien was seen on the street, dressed casually in a T-shirt, khaki pants, and sneakers, with a stylish hat and black eyeglasses. What drew significant attention, however, was his public use of an e-cigarette.
This sighting sparked disappointment among many netizens, leading to a flurry of negative comments directed at the Jolie family. Comparisons between Pax Thien and his brother Maddox were quickly made: “This isn’t the first time Pax Thien has been seen smoking,” one comment read, while another stated, “Pax looks like a playboy, unlike the gentle and quiet Maddox.”
Others highlighted Maddox’s academic pursuits at Yonsei University in Korea, contrasting them with Pax’s behavior. Pax Thien, adopted by Angelina Jolie in 2007 from Vietnam, has been following a different path than his brother.
Maddox, the Cambodian-born son of Jolie, has embraced Korean culture and is currently studying at Yonsei University. After finishing high school, Pax has ventured into the art and gaming fields.
Despite their different paths, Pax Thien and Maddox share a strong bond. Both have shown their support for their adoptive mother, particularly evident on the set of her new film “Maria,” where they have worked together harmoniously.
