Since his highly publicized split from Angelina Jolie in 2016, Brad Pitt’s relationships with some of his children have been deeply affected. Maddox (22), Pax (20), and Zahara (18) are reportedly no longer in contact with their father, while Jolie retains primary custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Shiloh.
A source revealed that Pitt has faced numerous “character assassinations” and has been increasingly “alienated from his kids.” The troubles reportedly began after an incident during a flight from France to the U.S., where Pitt allegedly became aggressive while intoxicated.

He was accused of physically assaulting Jolie and two of their children, grabbing and shaking Jolie, “choking” one child, and slapping another.
Jolie filed for divorce shortly after the incident, though Pitt has consistently denied any allegations of abuse. A source close to Pitt acknowledged that while he did not handle a “parent-child argument” appropriately, the situation was exaggerated.

“It did not reach the level of physical abuse,” the source insisted. “No one was physically harmed. He did not hit his child in the face in any way.”
However, the fallout has been severe, with Pax expressing his disdain for Pitt in a scathing private Instagram post in 2019. “Happy Father’s Day to this world-class a——!!” Pax wrote, accusing Pitt of lacking empathy and consideration for his younger children, who reportedly fear him.
On the other hand, Jolie is reportedly “livid” about being portrayed as the antagonist in their divorce, while Pitt is seen as the victim.

A source close to Jolie stated, “Even with all the facts, their peers are siding with him. It makes her sick that people in Hollywood can be such hypocrites.”
The source added that Jolie is eager to leave Los Angeles and move to Cambodia once her children are of legal age. “Angie has no close ties to Hollywood. She’d rather be working with refugees at her home in Cambodia.”
