Her path to healing will take months, but Junie is learning to trust again. Greater Good Charities’ Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping cover her medical expenses, enabling Junie to receive the ongoing care she needs.
This fund exists because shelters, often operating at capacity, struggle to provide adequate medical care for every sick or injured animal that arrives. The fund’s support allows animals like Junie to have a fighting chance at life.
Junie’s resilience and progress are a testament to her spirit. According to the shelter, “She continued to fight, as her desire to survive grew. She truly is a miracle.” With support, Junie will be surrounded by love and eventually, a new family.
