Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s eldest son, Maddox, was recently seen in Los Angeles amidst ongoing tensions in his parents’ custody battle. The Hollywood ex-couple has been entangled in legal disputes since their official divorce filing in 2016.
Maddox, accompanied by a friend, was spotted enjoying lunch at Wurstkuche in West Hollywood. Dressed casually in a black sweatshirt and matching sweats, he wore a beanie and adhered to safety protocols by wearing a mask during the outing.

Witnesses noted that both Maddox and his friend enjoyed Ginger beer during their lunch. This outing follows recent reports that Maddox, now a college student, testified against his father in the custody proceedings, which have entered their fifth year.
According to sources, Maddox’s testimony was not favorable towards Brad Pitt. Additionally, it’s been revealed that Maddox prefers to use his mother’s last name, Jolie, on non-legal documents and is considering legally changing his last name.

Brad and Angelina share six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. Earlier last month, Angelina filed court documents alleging “domestic violence” without explicitly tying the accusation to Pitt. She also provided “proof” in support of their minor children testifying at trial.
The Once Upon A Time in Hollywood star reportedly felt “heartbroken” after the allegations of abuse surfaced. The divorce, filed in 2016 citing irreconcilable differences, has already incurred over $1 million in legal costs.
Notably, the custody battle escalated following reports of an incident between Brad and Maddox on a private jet in 2016.

Witnesses claimed Brad had a confrontation with Maddox while allegedly under the influence. However, after an investigation, the FBI and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family cleared Pitt of any wrongdoing.
Angelina’s father, Jon Voight, expressed hope for Brad’s well-being amidst the challenges, acknowledging the difficulties he’s faced with alcohol. Voight emphasized his concern for the children’s welfare during this tumultuous time.
