The 48-year-old star was recently seen with freshly dyed honey-blonde hair, reminiscent of her appearance in the 1999 film “Girl, Interrupted,” where she played the role of the rebellious Lisa Rowe.
Jolie, a mother of six, was photographed looking chic as she collaborated with Chloe on a new fashion collection.
In the images released by the fashion house, Jolie is dressed in an elegant sleeveless black gown, her hair styled straight as she works with the Chloe team on the upcoming range.
The collection is part of Chloe’s commitment to sustainability, with Jolie expressing her admiration for the brand’s approach. “Very few luxury brands are certified B Corp. It was important to me to work with Chloé, one of the first luxury brands to be a B Corp,” Jolie said in a statement.
She also revealed that her earnings from the collaboration will be invested in establishing apprenticeships for tailors and artisans at her newly launched Atelier Jolie.
Atelier Jolie, a creative space for designers, tailors, and artisans, is set to debut this autumn. Jolie announced the project in May, describing it as a place where creative people can collaborate with skilled and diverse professionals from around the world.
The actress shared that the inspiration for Atelier Jolie comes from her appreciation for the many tailors and makers she has worked with throughout her career and her desire to promote self-expression through fashion.
Jolie’s intention is to utilize high-quality vintage material and deadstock fabric, referring to rolls of fabric left unsold by a fabric mill or unused from a brand’s production run.
“Fashion is an art I’ve had the opportunity to play with over the years,” Jolie said in a signed note on her website, adding that tailors often don’t receive the recognition they deserve.
With this latest venture, Angelina Jolie continues to push boundaries in the fashion world, embracing sustainability while fostering creativity and collaboration.
