Recently, the Angels4 Animals rescue team received a distressing call from a truck driver who discovered two puppies left by the side of a busy highway between Birda and Voiteg.
It was a rainy night, raising concerns about the kind of people who would abandon helpless puppies in such conditions.
Tragically, when rescue workers arrived, they found that one of the puppies had not survived. The surviving puppy, however, was retrieved and taken under the care of Angels4 Animals.
Despite his tough start, the rescued puppy turned out to be healthy and only needed the comfort of a warm bath. Once at the shelter, his true, lively personality began to shine just a day later.
As one volunteer expressed, “We can only hope for justice for those who could do such a thing to innocent animals.”
