In the quiet corners of an abandoned house, we found a dog barely clinging to life. He lay still, his breathing shallow, as if he hadn’t a care in the world.
Upon our arrival, his eyes fluttered open for a brief moment, like a lifeline tossed to someone caught in a swift current. Without wasting time, we took him to the nearest rescue station, hoping to save his fragile life.
It was clear that he had endured terrible hardship, suffering from hunger, exposure to cold, skin infections, and unbearable pain. Even after being warmed up, he trembled as if he were still on a sheet of ice.
His eyes were filled with countless emotions—an unresolved sorrow from the past, the discomfort of his current state, or perhaps the yearning for a future where he could belong to a loving family.
Miraculously, this dog, whose existence once seemed so tenuous, has made a remarkable recovery. He now basks in the affection of his new owner and family, who have lovingly named him Greyhound.
Through the love and care he receives, Greyhound has found the strength to fight for his new life. He is leaving behind the neglect of his past and demonstrating incredible resilience and a tremendous will to live.
