Upon learning about a stray dog suffering from a large tumor, a team sprang into action, determined to track him down. Following the surgery, the transformation was remarkable—the dog appeared entirely different. Although he needed a continuous course of antibiotics and pain relief via IV, his path to recovery had begun. Once mobile, the rescue team sought a medical foster home equipped to provide ongoing care.
Remarkably, the stray dog, once abandoned at the roadside, made a swift and remarkable recovery. He was ready to join his new home sooner than anyone anticipated. His foster caregiver, who treasures him dearly, ensures he attends all his veterinary appointments and receives his medications regularly. While still dependent on some pain medication, he is on the mend and improving daily.
