Once abandoned on Mahogany Road in the US Virgin Islands, Magnolia’s plight came to the attention of locals who notified the Animal Protection Center.

Upon arrival, the volunteers were shocked to find Magnolia unable to walk due to the large mass she was carrying. It was clear that urgent medical intervention was necessary.

The veterinary team quickly arranged surgery for Magnolia, ensuring her heart was healthy enough to withstand the operation.
