The Star Rescue Network in India recently responded to an urgent call about a small puppy in distress. The young pup, named Rahi, was found alone on the streets with a large lump that prevented her from resting comfortably.
It was clear she needed immediate medical help.
Veterinarians discovered that Rahi had an inguinal hernia, a condition which required surgical treatment. Despite her tiny size, surgery was considered the best course of action.

Under anesthesia, the veterinary team repaired the hernia and also took the opportunity to remove two loose teeth.
After the surgery, Rahi was taken to a shelter where she received continuous care and attention. Though she was weak at first, her recovery steadily progressed with each passing day.

In a short time, Rahi made an astonishing recovery. The worrisome lump that once troubled her was gone, and her playful nature returned. Those who cared for her were delighted to see her joyful spirit.
Rahi’s journey from a frail street puppy to a lively dog underscores the significance of compassionate veterinary care. Her story exemplifies the resilience of animals and the critical role of timely medical intervention coupled with loving support.

Now flourishing, Rahi is a living testament to how care and commitment can profoundly change a life.
