Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are embracing the Halloween spirit despite the ongoing pandemic. The couple was seen picking pumpkins together on Wednesday in Sag Harbor, New York.
Johansson, 35, was hunting for the perfect pumpkin amidst a festive display of seasonal squashes arranged by a haystack. She eventually found a pale green pumpkin, which she returned to her car.

Dressed casually in fluffy sandals, olive green sweats, a pink mask, and sunglasses, she epitomized relaxed autumn style.
On the other hand, Jost opted for a more traditional orange pumpkin, carrying it by the stem. The couple, enjoying their seasonal outing, returned to their car with their chosen pumpkins.

Although the pandemic has disrupted many holiday traditions and large gatherings, Johansson and Jost are making the most of the situation by decorating their home.
The actress and the comedian have been spending their lockdown together in The Hamptons. However, Jost recently returned to New York City for a Saturday Night Live taping.
Engaged for over a year, the couple has had to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Speaking with Andy Cohen, Jost explained that current prohibitions on large gatherings make it impossible to plan their wedding.
“This is not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together in one big group,” he said. “We don’t know if we can do a live show for SNL yet, let alone have a wedding where the audience is elders.”
Johansson and Jost began dating in 2017, but their connection dates back to 2006 when Jost was a writer on SNL and Johansson was hosting.

In his memoir, A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, Jost reminisced about his first impression of Johansson, describing her as “beautiful, smart, sweet, and intimidatingly sophisticated” with “a grace and a smile that I’ve still never seen in any other human.”
