Scarlett Johansson’s new relationship with Kevin Yorn didn’t happen overnight. According to a source close to the couple, their romance “developed organically” over time.
The “Avengers: Infinity War” star has been seeing Kevin Yorn, a prominent entertainment lawyer who also represents her.
A source told PEOPLE that they’ve known each other for a long time and genuinely liked each other outside of their working relationship. Romantically, things developed organically. There’s always been an attraction there.”
The couple was recently spotted holding hands while strolling through New York City on a Friday night after dining at a nearby restaurant.
Their connection extends beyond their professional lives. KevinYorn’s brother, musician Pete Yorn, collaborated with Johansson on a music project in 2009. They released a single from their nine-track album, “Break Up.”
Kevin Yorn was previously married to Julie Yorn, a Hollywood talent agent and film producer. The former couple, who divorced in 2005 after nine years of marriage, share a daughter named Samantha.
Johansson, meanwhile, was recently linked to “Saturday Night Live” comedian Colin Jost following reports of them kissing at the show’s season finale afterparty in New York in late May.
Currently, Johansson is in the midst of a divorce from French journalist Romain Dauriac, whom she split from in the summer of 2015. She filed for divorce in early March.
Despite their long-standing professional relationship, the source emphasized that Johansson’s romantic involvement with Yorn had no bearing on her divorce from Dauriac.
