Scarlett Johansson, engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, radiated joy on the red carpet of the New York premiere of her latest film, Don Jon.
The actress, 28, exuded charm in a shimmering minidress, accentuating her sun-kissed glow in the late summer humidity.
Wearing open-toed stilettos, Johansson proudly showcased her stunning engagement ring, adding an extra sparkle to the event.
Among the attendees were director Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tony Danza, and Julianne Moore, who were joining Johansson in celebration.
Johansson and Dauriac announced their engagement after a whirlwind 10-month romance, with the actress revealing, “My friend was like, ‘Congrats on timing’… things work out the way they do, maybe it’s better just to get it out of the way.”
The couple first stirred speculation when Johansson was spotted wearing a large diamond ring at the Venice International Film Festival.
Before her relationship with Dauriac, Johansson married Ryan Reynolds for two years before separating in 2010. Reynolds has since married Blake Lively.
Meanwhile, Gordon-Levitt, who cast Johansson in Don Jon, admired her unique appeal, stating, “The total package is just off the charts.”
Don Jon, Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut, explores themes of sexuality and pornography. The film follows a man obsessed with his appearance and pornography addiction, whose pursuit of a genuine relationship is challenged when his digital secret is revealed.
Set for release on September 19, the film promises to provoke thought on the influence of media consumption on love lives.
